As David Bowie would sing, “Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes!”  Changes are coming on my website.

I am unveiling a new on-line store/proofing section on my website.  The picture above is the front page of the store.  It will be more user-friendly than the previous one.  The galleries will display larger images.  On your computer, the galleries provide an option to view as a grid, a mosaic, or a slideshow.  On your smartphone, you can swipe pictures to scroll through the gallery.

The new store is now active and can viewed by selecting the “Galleries” tab on the main menu of my website.  Unfortunately, the galleries in the old store can not be seamlessly integrated into the new one.  Instead, the images have to be uploaded to the new store.  I am in the process of updating the new store, and many of the events from this year will be updated in the next few days.

Highlights of new features:

• New product offerings  I now offer lustre canvas wraps, metal prints, and photo gift products such as photo magnets and smartphone cases with photos printed on them.  I still handle the regular prints.  The canvas wraps, metal prints, and gift products are now fulfilled through a third party vendor.  Additional shipping charges may incur on some of these items.
• Shopping cart  The new cart is also easier to navigate, and has a couple of features I want to highlight.  If you prefer to pay in person, and not on-line, you can still submit an order on-line, and then select the “Pay Later” option at checkout.  Then we can handle the payment off-line.  In addition, if you prefer to pick up your regular prints, select the “Studio Pick Up” option at checkout.  Canvas wraps, metal prints, and gift products will be shipped directly to you.
• Social Media  While you still can not tag yourself in the photos in the on-line store, you can share a link to the photo, or the gallery, on Facebook and Twitter.  Also, you can select your favorite photos and create your own gallery of favorites.  Then, each time you come back to the store, you can view just your favorites gallery instead of searching for them in individual galleries.  Click on an individual photo and select the “Favorite” or star icon.
• Viewing/Order options  If you want to view/order a B&W or Sepia tone image, click on an individual photo.  Below the photo you will see some icons, one of which is the “Filter” option.  Click on this and select the effect you want to view for that photo.  For example, click on B&W, and the photo changes to a B&W image.  If you order that print now, it will be ordered as a B&W version.
